The AIFF Chief is looking forward to host 2017 and 2018 World Cup

As it has already been in much hype that India is going to host the U – 17 The commencement of Indian Super League (ISL) will mark a new and a dynamic era for Indian Football. The league is an initiative of IMG Reliance, which is the marketing partner of All India Football Federation (AIFF), highest governing body of Indian Football. This happens to be an effective approach to bolster Indian Football and to schedule the first kickoff in September 2014.
AIFF President Praful Patel, being present on the day one of the two-day workshop held in Mumai for the ISL Owners, expressed his delight and excitement for the development of the sport. The workshop delivered updates on stadium refurbishment, player recruitment drive, marketing and broadcasting and club operations. According to the AIFF Chief, the league will create a substantial commercial platform for the sport in the country.
Highlighting on the successful bid of India to host 2017 Under -17 FIFA World Cup, NCP Leader Praful Patel also stated that the I-League winners will have a chance to play against the best players of the world, if India wins the right to host the Club World Cup in the near future. Presently, India is bidding for two successive events of Club World Cup 2017 and 2018. As Patel further elucidated that in case India is successful, the respective I-League Champions of the two editions will be able to compete with the best players of the world. With the end of his interview, Patel hoped that India’s gains in the global image of football with multifarious projects have only been incorporated lately.
With the upcoming international football tournaments, Patel is confident that Indian Football will be scaled to a newer height and it will enable in opening getaways for international football to the national landscape. Along with this there should be adequate motivation and impetus which will prove to be the dominant force for the sport.
Apart from this, AIFF has also earned quite an accolade for their Grass Roots Programs and Youth Development Programs which are being scheduled in different states of India. These programs are focusing on the development of the sport at the very basic and elementary level. Through these matches, the youths are gaining ample motivation to know and learn about the preliminary techniques of the game, under top notch coaches, which is redefining and shaping their focus for the sport. Many stalwarts of the sport have appreciated this initiative of All India Football Federation and so the GRP and YDP have received remarkable response in different parts of the country.
