The Indian national team is getting ready to take on Iran in the upcoming World Cup qualifying campaign. Iran being recognized as one of the giants of Asian football stands out as quite a tough opposition.  India has produced some of the most promising players off late and Eugenesen Lyngdoh stands out as one of the agile midfielders in the country. As per the current head coach of the national team Stephen Constantine, Eugenesen certainly has a long way to go as a midfielder.  As per the version of Eugenesen, he was not happy with the performance of the team in the just concluded friendly against Nepal.

The team should have done far better and the players certainly rue the missed chances during the course of the game. As a midfielder, Eugenesen certainly has the potential to change the direction of a game with his acute vision and intelligent passing ability. He is also considered as a dead ball specialist and can take utility free kicks and corners when the team requires it the most.  Iran is quite a heavy opposition to face and the Indian midfield needs to create a concrete impact on the day to have chances of winning the match.

As the President of the All India Football Federation minister Praful Patel has taken a variety of measures for the rapid development of Indian football. With a foreign coach at bay and modern technical staff to back them, the team certainly has the potential to compete with the best in Asia.

Under the Praful Patel biography, Indian football has also witnessed the emergence of two most important professional leagues like the I league and the ISL. The match against Iran stands out as quite an uphill task but the team is confident about it.
