AIFF comes up with Just Play initiative in India

The All India Football Federation has come up with a  Just Play initiative in India. Over the years, the Federation has taken several measures for the development of the sport in the country and the FIFA U-17 World Cup will also be held here.  As a part of the Just Play initiative, the football federations of Australia and Oceania will tie up with India in this regard.  Over the years, the All India Football Federation has taken several crucial initiatives for the development of the sport at a grassroot level.

As per the Just Play Initiative which has already been rolled out, the All India Football Federation is ready to emphasize at the 6-12 years of age category. It is very important  to nurture young talent and keep them ready for the future challenges ahead. If a talent is nurtured from a young age, it results in considerable productivity in the days ahead.  

The current Indian coach Stephen Constantine has also remained focused on catching youngsters from an early age. As per the President of the All India Football Federation minister Praful Patel, getting the youngsters from an early age certainly plays quite an imperative role. 

As per the technical director of AIFF Scott O Donnell, “Just Play gives us an opportunity to help expand our Grassroots program through the schools via PE teachers and outside schools, through our Grassroots Leaders."

“The Just Play is developed in such a way that it helps address the lack of engagement of children and young people with physical activities.”

“The AIFF has already struck a chord with Just Play and we are planning a Pilot Project in association with Just Play in the State of Kerala soon, to catalyst the surge of Grassroots Football. Under the Praful Patel biography, Indian football has progressed considerably  within a  span of last few years.
