India U-17 captain to train with Espanyol

The All India Football Federation has taken several steps for the development of the sport in the country.  Over the years with the initiative of the Federation, new initiatives have been taken to make the sport more popular. The commercialization of the ISL and the restructuring of the I-League are two of the noted steps taken by the Federation which has resulted in quite a success. The U-17 FIFA World Cup will also be played in India which stands out as another milestone. 

As the President of the All India Football Federation minister Praful Patel has played a key role in taking the game forward and  providing the players with the much required exposure.  A variety of initiatives of taking promising youngsters abroad and training them adequately has also been taken. One of the recent additions to the contingent is youngster Deependra Singh  Negi, the captain of the  U-17 national team. He underwent trials at the famous club from the La Liga Espanyol which has some of the best players from the world to its credit.  Negi is one of the most promising youngsters from the country who has already proved his worth with commendable performances in the Subroto Cup and the U-17 national team. 

Under the Praful Patel Profile, India has won the rights to host the U-17 World Cup and a considerable hope is being pinned on the youngsters who have the opportunity to make the country proud in the coming days. As the President of the All India Football Federation Mr. Patel has taken a variety of concrete initiatives for taking the sport forward. Negi on the other hand is all set to learn Spanish and stay in Spain for a long period of time.  It is the best  time on the youngster to make loads from this opportunity and have a glowing career ahead.
