Under the vision and guidance of AIFF President Praful Patel, today Indian football has witnessed a number of positive strides. Coached by Stephen Constantine, who has recently been offered an extension for 14 months, India managed to hold on to their best ever ranking since August 2010 even though they did not play any matches in the past two international windows.
