AIFF begins its application for AFC Pro Diploma Course

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is boosting the coaches to take up professional course which will help them in refining their skills and performance level. The federation will conduct the first Module of AFC Pro Diploma Course in Goa from July 2015. The application window has already been opened for the same.

AIFF has announced that the last day of submitting the applications will be May 12, 2015. The aforementioned criteria for the course have also been clearly declared:
  • Must possess AFC ‘A’ Coaching Certificate
  • Coaching a professional/elite club or attached to the National Team
  •  Must be physically and mentally fit
  •  Must be able to participate in both the Practical and Theoretical sessions
  • Proficient in English language (compulsory for Continental and Regional Courses)
  •  Log book (minimum 100 Coaching hours)



Praful Patel profile in boosting the players and the federation itself has been immense. He has given his best endeavor to refine the sports and to make it more professional both in terms of quality and quantity. AIFF has also given sufficient stress on the Coach Education and Referee Education as they are the pillars of the game and will guide the players in a way to follow ethical and structural path towards greater heights.

It has become incumbent for Indian Football to aim higher and to take the sport before a global audience. Presently it has signed agreements with Japan Football Association and German Football Association which will carve prominent path for the Indian Team to take up new challenges, learn new performance technique and share new insights with their global counterparts.
