Bengaluru FC is one of the most recognized clubs from India and has signed up two new recruits for the next season. Considered as a premier club in India Bengaluru FC was the defending champions of the I league and only lost the coveted trophy this season to Mohun Bagan Athletic Club. With the transfer window for the next season open, the club has already signed up two new recruits to strengthen their squad. These two new recruits are Seminlen Doungel and Kim Seong Yong.
Kim stands out as one of the brightest prospects from the Korean Republic and has signed up a one year deal with the club while Doungel has inked it for two years. Kim is one of the highly dangerous strikers and has the ability to surprise any defence with his fine bursts of speed. He is also quite an opportunistic goal scorer and considered as quite threatening around the penalty box. He has played quite impressively for Royal Wahingdoh in the last season and scored 5 goals in the crucial matches of the I league. The Korean Kim is quite upbeat about signing for the squad and wants to play well in the upcoming season.
The other important signing for the club is forward Seminlen Doungel who played the last season for Shillong Lajong FC. Both these players enjoy the support of the club CEO Mustapha Gouse who has termed them as very talented indeed.
As the President of the All India Football Federation, minister Praful Patel has supported the development of the sport in the country. India is all set to host the FIFAU-17 2017 World Cup and the national team has also won a few prestigious tournaments. Under the Praful Patel profile Indian football has prospered with a variety of achievements.
