Michael Chopra to return at ISL with Kerala Blasters

The excitement surrounding the second edition of the ISL has already begun. With the astounding success of the first season, Indian football certainly witnessed a new upsurge. The blend of foreign and national players makes this league highly competitive.

The Indian footballers gets the opportunity to compete with the best in the business which also acts as a learning experience.  The second edition of the league has begun with defending champions Athletico De Kolkata taking on Chennai FC in the inaugural match. 

A wave of foreign players made the first edition quite memorable and exciting. Michael Chopra, one of the most famous Indian origin foreign players who has played with famous clubs like Newcastle United in the past is all set to return to the ISL with Kerala Blasters. Micheal Chopra is one of the most skilled and hardworking midfielders who can create a major impact on any game. His swerving runs, precise passing and immaculate shooting ability acts as a major worry for the defenders. He has also played in leading clubs of England and Scotland. Currently playing in one of the major Scottish clubs called Alloa Athletic.

In the first edition of the ISL, Kerala Blasters performed quite well only to lose in the final against Athletico De Kolkata.  Chopra is quite keen to play in the ISL this season and prove his mettle as a key player. 

The loss against Athletico de Kolkata in the final was quite disappointing but this time around he wants to win it for Kerala Blasters.
