Bhaichung Bhutia participates in football talent hunt with Coal India

Former India captain and legendary  footballer Bhaichung Bhutia is all set to partner with Coal India in a football talent hunt.  Bhaichung is one of the undisputed stars of Indian football and played a leading role in making India the winners at international tournaments.  Coal India is one of the top corporate organizations from the country and is quite privileged to have Bhaichung on board for this interesting venture. With the introduction of the ISL and the ever competitive I league, Indian football is trying to touch new frontiers. The quests for new achievements have made football one of the most passionate sports in the country. 

Bhaichung considered as an icon of Indian football and also feels quite fortunate to step into the state of Bengal again to scout for new talent.  Incidentally, Bhaichung has played for some of the leading clubs of the state like East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. He has also scored some of the most fascinating goals in Indian domestic football and is still remembered for his blistering pace. The ability to score from any given position made him one of the most fearsome strikers in Indian football. 

Keeping into consideration that India is hosting the U -17 FIFA World Cup, there is lot of demand for young footballers in the country. India needs to compete with the best in the world and only youngsters with proper talent can lead the way.  A football tournament with the young talents would be held in the state and Bhaichung would act as a scout for the games. As the  President of the All India Football Federation minister Praful Patel has always worked for the development of the game in the country. Under the Praful Patel profile India various initiatives for developing football at a grassroot level have been taken.
