AIFF invites applications for 2ND Division I league

The All India Football Federation has already begun taking in the applications for the 2nd division I league.  As the leading football regulation body in the country, it is the responsibility to encourage new clubs for participation. Already notifications to various state level clubs have been sent who needs to send a range of documents to the state associations.  All the nominations are required to be sent within the deadline of 20th July this month.  The last completed local league of the club needs to be submitted along with the  certification of incorporation under the companies act.

The Second Division I league is one of the most important football tournaments in the country where a variety of renowned clubs from different  states participate. Although it may just sound second tier, various talented players get the chance to prove their opportunity in this division. It remains as a perfect platform for the players to showcase their potential. It stands out as a golden chance for the clubs as they get promoted to the top tier which acts as a huge boost for the players. The clubs who are participating in the 2nd division tier must maintain a proper set ofU-19 and U-15 leagues. 

Some of the current players of the Indian national team have proved their mettle in the second division and come up the radar.  As the President of the Indian Football Federation minister Praful Patel wants the game to develop at all levels. The popularity of the 2nd division league should also be spread out to the fans for the overall growth of the sport.  Under the Praful Patel biography, a new dawn for Indian football certainly awaits the fans and critics.
