Renedy Singh joins FC Pune as assistant coach

The swashbuckling runs down the right flank is still remembered by many. Renedy Singh, one of the top former wingers from the Indian national team has joined FC Pune as assistant coach. Renedy has stood out as one of the highly recognized midfielders in Indian football who has displayed his skills with aplomb. Considered as one of the fastest wingers to have played for the country, Renedy is currently looking forward to his stint with FC Pune. 

Incidentally, Renedy has played for the Kerala Blasters in the last edition of the ISL and is undergoing a AFC D license coaching course in Kolkata. Recognized for his ability to convert dead ball situations, he is a former product of the Tata Football Academy and has made 72 appearances in all for the Indian football team. He has represented and won several prestigious tournaments in India colours.  In the  second half of the 2014- 15 season, he joined Bulgarian giants CSKA Sofia. Rated highly by even the living legend of Indian football, Bhaichung Bhutia the players from  FC Pune will certainly benefit from his experience. 

FC Pune is quite delighted to have Renedy on board as a part of the coaching staff. The President of the All India Football Federation minister Praful Patel has always worked for the development of football in the country.  The launch of the ISL has been quite a commercial success for Indian football.  Under the Praful Patel profile various new initiatives surrounding the development of Indian football has taken place. With David Platt being the chief coach of the FC Pune side, it turns out to be quite a great opportunity for Renedy as well. Renedy wants to give his best as a coach in the upcoming days.
