Delhi Dynamos, one of the noted franchises of the Indian Super League is all set to sign up Roberto Carlos as manager in the forthcoming season. Carlos is a former Brazilian international who represented some of the premier clubs in the world and still recognized for his outstanding ability to take free kicks. As the marquee manager of the side, Carlos is all set to impress with his impressive coaching skills. In the previous edition, the performance of the Delhi Dynamos was not quite up to the mark and they finished fifth in the title race.
Having Carlos as the marquee manager stands out as one of the major signings of the season and the fans are looking forward to his arrival in the country. Interestingly Dutch coach Harm Van Veldoven was at the helm of affairs of the club in the last edition of the ISL. There were a few glitches about Carlos joining the club as he also had a lucrative offer from famous club Al Arabi located in Qatar. Incidentally Carlos has a good track record and has already impressed with his performance in some of the Turkish clubs like Sivasspor.
Still remembered for his banana style free kicking and tremendous running ability, Carlos has been one of the top notch sensations of world football. He has represented Brazil in three world cup campaigns and turned out to be victorious in the year 2002. The vicious free kick which he took against France in the 1997 Turnois de France is still remembered avidly by the football pundits. Under the Presidency of minister Praful Patel the ISL has become one of the most coveted tournaments in the country. Under the tutelage of the Praful Patel biography, Indian football has progressed quite a long way.
