FIFA General Secretary Jerome Valcke was recently in India and opened his heart out regarding the first edition of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) and FIFA’s planning about Indian Football. He spoke about his perspective on Indian Football and also on the recently conducted Indian Super League (ISL). The first edition of ISL has received an overwhelming response from the football fans from all across India. He appreciated the fact that ISL is a great tournament that has bring out the game in the most productive manner. According to him, the atmosphere of the stadium has been one of the positive factors in support of the game.
FIFA has ensured to initiate some of the strong measures in support of Indian Federation. The main focus of the international governing body is to promote a persistent footballing culture and make way for the development of the sport in the country. He also stressed on the implementation of grassroots development programme that would make the sport popular in every nook and corner of the country. AIFF President Praful Patel accompanied Jerome Valcke at the launch of the Strategic Planning which said that India would have to revitalize its infrastructure as they aim towards make a mark in the international football. There would be introduction of different programmes in order to create a perfect platform for the kids to take interest in Indian Football.
Praful Patel profile is an extremely important deal when it comes to the progress of the sport in the country. He recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding representing All India Football Federation (AIFF) with the Japan Football Federation. The purpose of this prestigious agreement is to intensify the basis of Indian Football and to solidify the liaison with the Japanese Federation.
