India escalated by 26 places in the FIFA ladder

It is a jubilant moment in the Indian Football camp as the team escalates by 26 places in the FIFA World Ranking. Presently the team is at the 24th in the continent. India under the coaching of Stephen Constantine, overpowered Nepal by 2-0 in the home leg, which is presently holding a position of 181 in the FIFA Ranking. It has shared spoils in the away match to advance into the second round of qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 AFC Asian Cup respectively.

On the other hand the Blue Tigers had played a couple of matches in 2014 when they dropped down to Palestine holding the 140 place by 2-0 and drew 2-2 against Bangladesh with 167th place in the FIFA Ranking. The Indian National Team has been scheduled to play quite a few numbers of matches this year, in advancement to the second round of the declared qualifiers. Praful Patel profile as the President of All India Football Federation (AIFF) has stressed on the fact Indian Team should endeavor to improve their ranking in the FIFA ladder.

The current ratings of the countries play a crucial role in the placing themselves for the next round of the qualifiers for the World Cup. Being positioned in the 24th in the continent, India will now be installed in the pot three in the draw, which is scheduled to take place on the 14th of this month.
