Praful Patel Biography

The reigning champions of the Indian Super League Atletico De Kolkata has signed up Helder Postiga as the marquee player.  The Portuguese international has played for some of the premier clubs in the world and all set to don the Athletico De Kolkata jersey for the next season.  Postiga has quite a glittering career to his credit and had last fared for Deportivo La Coruna but only managed to score 1 goal in 14 match outings. Aged 32, he has represented some of the top draw clubs in world football. A former Portuguese international  Postiga is one of the most able creative players of the modern era. 

Some of the top notch clubs which Postiga has represented can be termed as FC Porto, Valencia, Lazio and Tottenham Hotspur.  Considered as one of the  best players ever from Portugal after Eusobio and Luis Figo, Postiga is well known for his immaculate ball control, dribbling, shooting and ability to pass the ball all around the ground.

He can be the real wizard as far as gaining the control of the midfield and attacking third  is concerned. Postiga stands out as the ideal replacement for Luis Garcia who came up with quite a commendable performance in the first edition.
